The Challenge: Managing Multiple Marketplaces

As Best Immune International expanded across marketplaces, operations became increasingly fragmented. Orders, stock levels, and product listings had to be managed across multiple platforms manually, creating a heavy operational burden. Jerry explains “our biggest hurdle was fragmented operations. We were selling on multiple platforms, and managing orders, stock, and listings manually was incredibly time-consuming.”

At the same time, another challenge emerged: Brexit. New regulations meant the UK-based business could no longer sell supplements directly into the EU without establishing an EU entity. The company needed a solution that could both streamline operations and support international growth.

Solving Brexit with Orange Connex

“Brexit was the catalyst. We could no longer sell supplements in the EU from the UK due to health authority regulations requiring an EU-based business entity.” Brexit forced Best Immune International to rethink its logistics strategy. EU health regulations required the company to establish an European entity in order to continue selling supplements in EU markets. To maintain access to these markets, the company opened a branch in Poland. Rather than building a warehouse operation internally, the company chose to outsource fulfilment.

On Base.com’s recommendation, they partnered with Orange Connex. Today, the entire fulfilment process runs automatically. To diversify, the company expanded to additional marketplaces, including Temu. “Expanding to Temu was an important step for us to diversify and strengthen our sales channels”. Temu’s rapid growth across Europe made it a particularly attractive opportunity. Because Base.com already centralised operations, adding Temu as a new channel was straightforward.

This diversification has allowed the company to reduce risk and scale its brand across Europe.
