On marketplace eBay, accounts have sales limits, which can restrict your ability to list offers. Sales limits on eBay have been introduced for the purposes of transaction security and seller verification.

As your eBay marketplace account grows, information about your account will be confirmed, and you will have a positive transaction history, the limit will be increased.

The most important aspects that marketplace eBay takes into account when increasing the sales limit

  • positive buyer reviews
  • no unresolved issues with buyers sales history (min. 90 days) and active sales
  • no reviews questioning the authenticity of the merchandise
  • compliance with eBay rules
  • no outstanding seller account

Sales limits usually refer to the total value of products we can list for sale.

For example, when you have a limit of 10000 euros, and your product costs 1000 euros. In such a situation, the maximum we can list 10 pieces of such a product, because 11 pieces will already exceed the limit imposed on our account

If you exceed the sales limit when listing from our system, eBay marketplace will return a corresponding message to the listing.
