In BaseLinker, it’s possible to verify the EU VAT status of customers.
There’s also a condition available for automatic action events related to orders – EU VAT Status (VIES). You can configure automation to perform specific actions based on the validity status of the European VAT number in the order.
The EU VAT Status (VIES) condition can be found when creating/editing automations for any order-related event in the Other section.
Examples of usage
- Issuing an invoice with a 0% VAT rate in the case of a valid EU VAT number.
- Marking orders with an invalid VAT number.
