Leroy Merlin – integration configuration

Leroy Merlin is one of the world’s largest DIY (do-it-yourself) hypermarket chains, specializing in construction, renovation, interior design, and garden products.

 

The Base.com system offers two-way integration with Leroy Merlin. This allows for both order collection and mass auction listings.

Integrating Leroy Merlin with Base allows you to:

• importing orders from all Leroy Merlin accounts to the Base.com panel,
• forwarding orders to an online store,
• automatic transfer of shipment numbers from Base.com panel to Leroy Merlin,
• bulk listing on Leroy Merlin based on products from a warehouse connected to the Base.com system (it can be an online store warehouse, wholesaler warehouse, Base.com warehouse or ERP system).
• basic offer management,
• automatic relisting,
• stock synchronization,
• synchronizing prices 

How to link Modivo account? 

To connect your account, follow these steps:

 

1. Go to Integrations.
2. Click the green button ‘+Add integration’, and then in the ‘Marketplace’ section select ‘Leroy Merlin‘.
3. Select the channel you are interested in and press “Connect Leroy Merlin account”
4. Log in to your Mirakl account.

 

Integration settings

When you add a new account you will see 9 tabs:

 

 

• Connection – here you can test if the connection is correct.
• Orders – here you can activate the download of orders. However, we recommend that you first configure Order Manager.
• Listing settings – here you can choose a template, price list and category for your entire account.
• Order statuses  – thanks to status linking, any change to the order status in Base.com will also change the order status on the marketplace. However, synchronization does not work the other way around (changing the status on the marketplace does not change the status on Base).
• Prices – the price synchronization module will allow you to automatically synchronize prices in offers according to the prices of products in stock.
• Stock – the stock synchronization module will allow you to automatically synchronize offer stock according to warehouse.
• Prepare Time – in this tab, you can enable shipping time updates for all marketplace offers available on Base based on the additional field next to the product. To do this, create a new additional field, type number, for the products and enter a numeric value representing the number of days (0 – immediate shipping, 7 – 7 business days). You can also create an automation that will change the value of this field depending on factors such as stock availability. This option only works for offers associated with products from the Base catalog.
• Competition – here you can enable the competition module and price automation.
• Advanced Settings – in this tab you can configure courier mapping.

 

Module

 

 

• Listing – here you list your offers. To proceed to the listing form, select the warehouse, Leroy Merlin account and products and click ‘List selected (form)’.
• Offer management – here you can update existing offers. You can also import offers listed outside Base.com (and manage them directly in the panel) and export auctions for further analysis.
• Shipping templates– here you will import shipping templates,
• Categories and parameters – in this tab you will select your favourite categories and you will map the parameters
• Associations – here you can assign marketplace categories and shipping templates to the category (or products) from the warehouse.

Configuration

To list your auctions in just a few clicks, configure the Modivo module by following these steps:

1. Connect your Leroy Merlin account in the Integrations → Add a new integration section.
2. Select your favorite categories in Leroy Merlin → Categories and Parameters → Modivo Categories. This will make your favorite categories visible as a drop-down list when listing an offer.
3. Create your own offer templates in the Leroy Merlin → Auction Templates section.
4. Complete the listing settings in the Integrations → Leroy Merlin → Listing Settings section. This is where you’ll fill in the default form settings.
5. Map the parameters in Leroy Merlin → Categories and Parameters → Leroy Merlin Parameters. Thanks to the rules you’ve created, the auction parameters will be automatically populated on the listing form.
6. Create associations in Leroy Merlin → Associations.
7. Ready! 🙂

 

To fully utilize all the system’s features, follow these steps:

 

1. Configure the price synchronization module in Integrations → Leroy Merlin → Prices.
2. Configure stock synchronization module in Integrations → Leroy Merlin → Stock.
3. Configure the Order Manager and activate Worten  order downloading to Base.com  in Integrations → Leroy Merlin → Orders.

Price synchronization for different channels

The Mirakl platform offers flexibility in price management, allowing sellers to assign different prices. By default, the system sends one set standard (default) price for all offers.

 

However, in the context of integration with sales management systems, such as Base.com, advanced configuration is possible. The Base.com system has been designed to meet the requirements of various pricing strategies, enabling the transmission of specific prices depending on the target marketplace (sales channel) in Leroy Merlin. This is crucial for companies conducting international sales or differentiating their pricing policy depending on the customer’s location.

 

The step-by-step instructions below describe how to configure sending different default prices for each integrated marketplace (channel) for Leroy Merlin.

 

 

1. To synchronize prices for different channels in the Leroy Merlin marketplace, you first need to create price groups for each channel and assign them to the catalog from which you list products on Leroy Merlin.
2. After creating and adding price groups for each channel and adding them to the catalog, the price groups should be visible on the product card.
3. A price group must be assigned to each active market in the integration settings. Otherwise, the offer prices may turn out to be different from desired due to differences in currency values.
   
4. You can then check the assigned prices in the Leroy Merlin offers management in the Base panel.

 

Promotional price synchronization

 

 

1. To synchronize the promotional price on the Leroy Merlin marketplace, first create a new price group where you will store the promotional prices. After creating and linking the price group with the catalog on the product card, you will see the created price group.
2. In the Leroy Merlin integration settings, under the Listing settings tab, you must assign the previously created price group.
   
   
3. The promotional price group must be assigned for each active market in the integration settings.
   
   
4. You can then check the assigned prices in the Leroy Merlin offers management in the Base panel.

Now you can proceed to the real sales 🙂

 

1. List your first offers.
2. Offers can be marked as offers relisted automatically
3. If you have listed offers outside Base.com, you can import them following instructions in Import offers and products
