Base.com system can be integrated with the online shopping platform Miinto. It is a rapidly growing marketplace where customers can shop at independent boutiques. With a single Miinto account, you can download orders from 7 markets (pl, se, no, ch, be, nl, dk).
How to connect your Miinto account
To connect your Miinto account, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Integrations section.
2. Click the green “+Add integration” button, then select ‘Miinto’ in the “Marketplace” section.
3. Fill in the required information:
- Account name – this can be any name used to identify the account in the Base.com panel.
- API Identifier – login to the Miinto administration panel (this information is available from the onboarding manager/customer care representative at Miinto).
- API Secret – password to the Miinto administration panel.
- Main service – products listed on this website will be treated as the main source of common parameters transferred to the marketplace
Automatic conversion in the marketplace – Does the marketplace automatically convert offers (names, descriptions, prices) to its other markets? - Enable automatic order acceptance – Base.com retrieves orders from Miinto every hour. Each Miinto order must be accepted. If a customer places an order for a selected product that is also offered by your competition, the order goes to the seller who accepts it first. You can do this directly in the Miinto panel or enable automatic order acceptance in the Base.com panel (also every hour). If so, the system will send Miinto information that you have accepted the order, and it will then appear in the panel 🙂
- The default tax rate – The Miinto API does not return the VAT rate in orders, but only provides the gross price. Therefore, at this stage, you need to fill in the default VAT rate for orders from a given account.
4. Done. The Miinto account will be automatically added to the system.
Integration settings
After adding a new account, go to its settings to complete the configuration.
After adding a new Miinto account, you will see two tabs:
Connection – here you can test whether the connection is correct. You can also complete the connection details (if they have changed on the marketplace account side).
Orders – here you can enable Miinto order retrieval. However, we recommend that you configure the Order Manager beforehand.
