How to Integrate FirstCry with BaseLinker: A Complete Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Obtain FirstCry Vendor Credentials

Before setting up the integration in BaseLinker, you need two key pieces of information:

  1. Vendor Code

  2. Vendor Email/Login ID

These details are not the same as the ones available on the FirstCry VCom panel. To get them:

  • Contact your FirstCry Account Manager via email.

  • Request your Vendor Code and Login ID.

  • Vendor Name: M Cub

  • Vendor Code: BANG-MC

  • Login ID: [email protected]

  • Warehouse Mapped: BANGALORE2

 Tip: To find your details on the FirstCry VCom panel, hover over your email address at the top right corner, select the correct seller profile, and copy the displayed information.


Step 2: Setting Up FirstCry Integration in BaseLinker

Once you have your credentials:

  1. Log in to your BaseLinker account.

  2. Go to Integrations > Add Integration > FirstCry.

  3. Enter the Vendor Code and Login ID provided by FirstCry.

Selecting Order Type:

  • Choose B2C if you are only handling dropshipping.

  • Choose B2B+B2C if you handle both bulk orders and dropshipping.


Step 3: Configuring Order Status Mapping for FirstCry

To ensure smooth status updates between BaseLinker and FirstCry:

Handling FirstCry Shipping vs. Seller’s Own Shipping

Scenario 1: FirstCry Shipping

  • Add FirstCry Courier as a separate integration.

  • Associate your marketplace with this courier setup.

  • Pull shipping labels and invoices directly.

Scenario 2: Seller’s Own Shipping

  • BaseLinker automatically updates tracking numbers to FirstCry when the shipment is created.
