How to Integrate Flipkart: Full Setup & RTD Flow Sellers (2025 Guide)

Step 1: Connect Your Flipkart Account to Base

  1. Log in to your Base panel.

  2. Go to Integrations

  3. Search for Flipkart and click Add Account.

  4. Enter your Flipkart API credentials (App ID & Secret Key).

  5. Click Connect.

IMPORTANT: Make sure the Location ID is correctly configured.
If the location isn’t visible:

  • Click on “Download” to fetch it from Flipkart.

  • Wait a few seconds, and the list should refresh.
    Refer to the image below for guidance.


Step 2: Map Order Statuses – Flipkart to BaseLinker

Mapping statuses ensures Flipkart order stages match with your BaseLinker workflow.

Example Mapping:

BaseLinker Status Flipkart Status
Pending Handover Ready to Dispatch (RTD)
Ready to Ship (internal) Pending RTD
  • In your Flipkart integration settings, under Order Status Mapping, set:

    • “Pending Handover” → “Ready to Dispatch (RTD)”

  • This allows BaseLinker to auto-update Flipkart order status in the background as you progress internally.


Step 3: Flipkart Order Lifecycle in BaseLinker

Once the integration is active, this is how orders flow:

  1. Order Import: Orders from Flipkart appear under “Pending Labels” in BaseLinker.

  2. Generate Labels: Click “Label Generation” in the BaseLinker panel.

    • This moves the order to “Pending RTD” on Flipkart.

  3. Change Order Status: In BaseLinker:

    • Select the orders → Change status to “Pending Handover”

    • In backend, BaseLinker marks the order as RTD on Flipkart.

Pro Tip: Use batch status updates to manage multiple orders efficiently.


Step 4: Ekart Logistics – Sending the Package

For Flipkart shipments through Ekart, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Integrations → Ekart Logistics.

  2. Select the order and click “Send Package – Ekart Logistics”.

  3. Ensure weight and dimensions are filled in.

    • These are mandatory for label generation.

    • Missing values? Edit them before proceeding.


Step 5: Download Labels, Invoices & Mark RTD

Once the package is submitted:

  • Flipkart will generate a shipping label and invoice.

  • You can download these from BaseLinker under the “Labels” tab.

  • Order status will now be “Pending RTD” on Flipkart.

To finalize RTD:

  • Select the order again in BaseLinker.

  • Change the status to Pending Handover.

  • BaseLinker will now mark the order RTD on Flipkart in real-time.


Step 6: Manifest Download & OTC

Once orders are marked RTD, you need to generate the manifest:

  1. Go to Shipping Integrations → Ekart Logistics.

  2. Locate the relevant shipments.

  3. Click Download Manifest.

  4. You will also receive the Forward OTC (OTP) here, needed during handover.
