After connecting your Shopify store to your Base account, you can easily list products from your warehouse on almost 400 marketplace platforms. You can also retrieve orders from the store to the Base panel and process them 10 times faster than before.

How to connect the integration?

To connect a Shopify store to the system, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Integrations → +Add Integration and select Shopify.
  2. Fill in the Display name – this can be any name, just remember not to exceed 15 characters.
  3. Provide the Shop address – be careful to enter only the domain without HTTP or encrypted HTTPS protocol.
  4. Log in to the Shopify panel and select Apps → Design apps for your store → Allow custom app design → Allow(…) → Create App and provide its name (e.g., Base).
  5. Next, go to Configure Admin API Scopes for the created app for Base and grant API method access.
  6. In the API Credentials tab, install the app.
  7. Copy the API key and paste it in the Base panel.
  8. Copy the Admin API access token (starting with shpat_) and paste it in the Base panel in the API password field.
  9. Choose whether you want to use product synchronization or just retrieve and process orders from the store.
  10. Select the Save button.

Integration with Shopify in Base allows downloading HS codes (if filled in for products in the store). It’s also possible to download and send product metafields.

FAQ

Why isn't a product created in the store visible in the Marketplace Listing tab?

For better connection stability, the integration works with a cache that automatically refreshes approximately every hour. Therefore, if a product is not visible for marketplace listing or doesn’t import to the catalog, please wait.

Why do photos in the store appear only after some time when a product is created via API?

To avoid timeouts, we’ve added a mechanism where photos are sent separately after product creation. This typically takes a maximum of a few minutes after creating the product itself.
