Shopify Integration: Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Go to the Integrations Panel in BaseLinker

  1. Log in to your BaseLinker account
  2. From the left-hand menu, click on “Integrations”
  3. Press the  green button +Add Integration

  4. In the search bar, type “Shopify” and select the Shopify tile that appears

Step 2: Fill in Required Shopify Integration Details

  • Display Name: This can be any name you choose for your integration (e.g., “My Shopify India Store”)
  • Store URL: Enter the full URL of your store without including http:// or https://.
    For example, enter myshopstore.myshopify.com

Step 3: Get Your API Key and Password from Shopify

Follow these steps inside your Shopify store:

  1. Go to the Admin Panel of your Shopify store
  2. Click Apps > App and Sales Channel Settings

  3. Scroll down and click “Develop apps for your store”
  4. Press “Allow custom app development” (if prompted)
  5. Click “Create an app”, give it a name (e.g., “BaseLinker Connector”), and click Create App

  6. Under Configuration, select “Configure Admin API scopes”
  7. Grant access to all API methods and Save the configuration

Step 4: Install the App and Generate Credentials

  1. Navigate to the API credentials tab within the app you just created
  2. Click “Install App”
  3. Once installed, you’ll see your:
    • API Key
    • Admin API Access Token (this will be your “API Password”)

Step 5: Complete the Integration in BaseLinker

  1. Copy the API Key from Shopify
  2. Paste it into the API Key field in BaseLinker

  3. Copy the Admin API Access Token
  4.  Paste it into the API Password field and Click Save

    If successful, you will see a confirmation message saying your Shopify account is now connected

Step 6: Start Syncing Orders and Products

Once connected:

  • Orders and Products will automatically sync into BaseLinker
  • You can also send order statuses, payments, and shipment tracking numbers back to Shopify
  • You can connect multiple Shopify stores by repeating the same process

  • Local Couriers: Set up local courier plugins for delivery partners like Delhivery, Shiprocket, etc
  • Scale Easily: Add more stores, warehouses, or integrations anytime as your business grows
