At BaseLinker, we’re excited to unveil yet another enhancement for our Allegro integration based on your valuable feedback. This time, we introduce automatic shipping time (Prepare Time) and shipping date (Delivery Time) adjustments!
In Allegro, there are two fields associated with shipping times:
- Prepare Time: This field specifies when the package will be dispatched, with Allegro’s predefined values including: immediately, 24 hours, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 14, 21, 30, and 60 days.
- Delivery Time: Frequently used in pre-sales scenarios, this field indicates the date when the item will be sent (e.g., the release date of a book, such as 10.12.2023).
What’s New?
Until now, BaseLinker allowed you to input only one of these values at a time, when listing your offers on Allegro. Any subsequent changes required additional manual operations on the listings.
Now, both of these values can be retrieved from your warehouse, synchronized, and automatically set based on your rules (via automatic actions). You will be able to:
- Adjust shipping times based on inventory status.
- Modify shipping times based on availability across different warehouses or suppliers.
- Mass-edit shipping times by uploading a CSV file.
- Change shipping times through API by editing the corresponding field in the product.
Why Should You Use These New Features?
✔ Eliminate the need for manual updates of shipping times and dates. The system will execute these actions automatically according to rules you define.
✔ Reduce the risk of errors through automatic data synchronization between your inventory and Allegro.
✔ Enhance customer service quality – your customers will always receive precise and up-to-date shipping information, while you save time associated with handling inquiries and avoid negative feedback.
How to Use These New Features?
The functionality is available in the Allegro account integration settings (Integrations → Allegro Account → Prepare Time/Delivery Time).
This enhancement marks another step forward in improving delivery times for Allegro. Recently, we also introduced retrieval of estimated shipping and delivery dates for Allegro orders. We encourage you to test these features and share your feedback below.
