Adding marketplace accounts

In the BaseLinker system, most integrations with marketplace platforms are two-way integrations.

This type of integration allows not only downloading orders to the panel, but also mass posting of offers based on products from the warehouse.

Configuration

You can find all available integrations with marketplace platforms in the BaseLinker panel under the Integrations → +Add Integration → Marketplace section.

Depending on the specifics of a given platform, the way of connecting and configuring it may vary slightly.

Detailed instructions can be found in articles dedicated to individual platforms:

The most important integration settings to pay attention to include:

  • downloading orders;
  • tracking number – forwarding;
  • invoice – forwarding;
  • shipping template;
  • price multiplier;
  • automatic renewal auctions;
  • price synchronization;
  • stock synchronization.

Remember that not all of the above settings will be available for every marketplace. This depends on the specifics of the platform and the functionality available in the API.

Some of the discussed settings may not apply to your business – it depends on the purpose for which you want to use BaseLinker (e.g., where you decide to handle orders).

Offer import

By default, only offers posted through BaseLinker are visible in offer management. Offer import allows you to download offers posted outside the system (e.g., directly on the marketplace or using other software). You can do this in the Marketplace → Offer management → Import offers section.

Offer import is necessary for prices and/or stock levels to be properly synchronized based on the warehouse.

Associations

For the product data in the offer to be updated based on the data in the warehouse, the offer must be associated with a product in the warehouse.

Such associations are automatically created for offers posted directly in the system. Imported offers must be additionally associated with products from the warehouse. Removing a product from the warehouse will break the association. However, remember that in such a situation, the offer will not be automatically ended.

You can perform such an association from the Offer management tab using the Associate with products from the storage operation.

If you don’t have an external warehouse and have decided to use the BaseLinker Inventory, you can create products in it based on offers from the marketplace.

Listing offers

In addition to the integration settings (described in articles dedicated to connecting individual platforms), it’s worth configuring additional options available in the Marketplace section to streamline the posting of new offers:

You can post a new offer from the Marketplace → Listing section. Just select the storage and products to post. If you have fully configured the integration, the fields required to post a new offer should be filled in automatically.

Detailed description of the posting form and the entire process can be found in the Listing offers article.

Multi-variant offers

Through BaseLinker, you can also post offers for products with variants on marketplaces such as Allegro, eBay, Amazon, eMAG, Erli.

Transferring offers between marketplaces

If you don’t have an external warehouse, but your product base is posted on a marketplace, you can easily copy active offers to another platform.

More information and detailed instructions can be found in our article: Transferring offers between marketplaces.
