Transferring offers between marketplaces

If you already have listings on a marketplace through Base, you can list them on other platforms in a few easy steps!

Due to differences in listings on each marketplace (different categories, required parameters, description formatting), it is not possible to automatically and massively transfer listings from one marketplace to another.

However, you can create products in Base’s storage based on already active listings and use them to list offers on other marketplaces.

If you don’t yet have a marketplace account with active listings connected to the system from which you want to transfer them, first add the integration to your Base account.

To transfer listings between Allegro accounts, simply connect both accounts to the system, import the listings, and use the List on another account operation.

Importing offers with the option to create products in the inventory

To transfer listings from one marketplace to another, you must import products to Base’s inventory.

If you already have a storage with products (external, connected to the system, or in Base), there is no need to perform such an import – you can list products using the existing warehouse. You can read more about this in our article: Storage configuration scenarios.

Creating products in Base based on marketplace listings is possible through listing import. You can do this in the Marketplace → Offer management Import offers section.

To create products, in the import settings for the Create products in storage option, select the value: Yes – create products in storage. I do not have an external online shop with these products.

You can read detailed instructions on how to perform such an import in our article: Creating products in Base based on marketplace offers.

On the product card, you can use the DeepL translator integration or artificial intelligence functionality to translate all product data into the selected language and save it in the inventory. This way, you can use them multiple times when listing on different platforms.

To translate product data in the catalog in Base using any of these tools, you must add the language you’re interested in to the inventory.

Configuration of the second marketplace

You can find information about connecting and configuring individual marketplaces in Marketplaces category in our knowledge base.

Pay attention to important settings when transferring listings:

  1. Select favorite categories in which you want to list offers in the Marketplace → Categories and parameters → Categories section.
  2. Import shipping templates (only selected marketplaces, including: Allegro, eBay, Amazon) in the Marketplace → Shipping templates section.
  3. Create your own offer templates (only selected marketplaces, including Allegro, Etsy, eMAG) in the Marketplace → Offer templates section.
  4. Configure default listing settings in the Integrations → Marketplace account → Listing settings section.
  5. You can also create specific associations (for specific categories and/or products) in the Marketplace → Associations section.
  6. Map product parameters in the Marketplace → Categories and parameters → Parameters section.

Listing

After properly configuring the marketplace module, proceed to list new offers – you can do this with a few clicks!

To do this, go to the Marketplace → Listing section and select the account (if you have more than one account of the selected marketplace connected), storage, and category from which you want to list products.

When transferring listings from another marketplace, select the inventory to which you previously imported as the storage.

To list offers, select the products you want to list and go to the listing form using the blue button at the bottom of the list List selected (form).

If you have fully and correctly configured the marketplace module, all fields should be filled in automatically. Just click the orange button List offers at the top of the form.

The process of listing new offers on the marketplace is described in detail in our article: Listing offers.
