Pradeep Sekhar

Pradeep is the Country CEO of Base.com India and has spent close to 18 years in e-commerce, long before D2C became a buzzword in India. He helped expand Amazon's business across Europe, where he learned what it really takes to scale operations across new markets, languages and customer expectations.

He then moved into the startup world and worked with several young companies, picking up a founder's habit of solving problems with whatever is at hand.

At Base.com India, he brings both worlds together: big-marketplace discipline and startup speed. He's building the Indian business from the ground up, working closely with brands and sellers to see how they manage orders, inventory and channels, and where things tend to break.
